Exclusive Car Auction at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino

One of the country’s priciest car shows will head to South Florida next spring, bringing Lamborghinis and Mercedes that can fetch nearly $1 million a piece (floor mats not necessarily included). The exclusive Russo and Steele Collector automobile auctioncarsex.jpg will set up shop at the Seminole Hard Rock casino near Hollywood March 27-29, adding a third stop to a circuit that had been confined to California and Arizona.

Bidders usually pay $100 to get in on the action, while spectators at its Monterrey, Calif., show paid $20 to just see the cars. That August auction saw a bidder pay $765,000 for a 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and another write a $963,000 check for a 1973 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV.

Do buyers get any add-ons with that? ”Sometimes, the collector has kept all the original floor mats and decals,” spokeswoman Stephanie Quinn said. “It all depends on the car.”

  2. One of these days I have to go to the Barrett Jackson auction. It’s not far from my house, and I love the cars I see on TV. I always wondered how much I would have gotten for my old convertible if I sold it through them.
